Prayer over Love

Thank You for Your love that is unwavering, steady, patient, and always present. I come before You asking that You help me to fully embrace love in my life, not just in words, but in how I live, respond, and connect with others.

Teach me to receive love with openness and without fear. Remove any hesitation, past hurt, or doubt that keeps me from accepting the love You place in my life. Strengthen my heart so that I do not withdraw, but instead grow in trust, gentleness and understanding. Lord, guide me in giving love with a full heart. Help me to be patient, kind, and thoughtful in my actions. When it feels difficult, remind me that love is a choice, one that reflects growth, discipline, and faith.

As it is written in First Epistle to the Corinthians 13:4–7, “Love is patient, love is kind…” Let this truth shape how I treat others and how I carry myself each day.

Help me to pursue peace in my relationships and to act with compassion, even when it requires humility. Let my life reflect a steady commitment to love, not based on emotion alone, but rooted in purpose and guided by You. Thank You for teaching me how to embrace love more fully each day.
